Parmesan-Greek Yogurt Chicken Breasts

Delicious chicken breasts that taste creamy and rich, but are healthy and protein-packed thanks to Greek yogurt! The Greek yogurt also keeps these chicken breasts nice and juicy.

Marinating the chicken breasts is not mandatory; if you are in a rush, it is fine to simply place the chicken breasts on the baking pan and cover with yogurt mixture!

Parmesan-Greek Yogurt Chicken Breasts

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 60 minutes

Yield: 6 chicken breasts halves

Serving Size: 1 chicken breast

Ingredients:

  • 3 large chicken breasts, sliced in half or pounded thin with a meat mallet
  • 3/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 5 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Spray a baking pan with cooking spray (olive oil preferred)
  • Mix yogurt, seasonings, garlic, cheese
  • Trim fat from chicken breasts and place in large Ziploc bag, large enough to fit all chicken breasts
  • Massage yogurt mixture into chicken breasts until fully covered
  • Marinate in chicken breasts in yogurt mixture for 30 minutes or more
  • Place chicken on baking sheet and brush with remaining yogurt mixture
  • Bake for 25 minutes or so, until no longer pink in the center
  • Drain any excess liquid and broil for a couple of minutes, to achieve a nice golden-brown color
